Summary Judgment Dismissal in Attorney Malpractice Case

Shareholder Lori Hurl and Associate Nicole Morrow prevailed on an appeal at the Court of Appeals Division II. After obtaining summary judgment dismissal of all claims against their attorney client in the underlying case where a client sued their attorney for legal malpractice, the Court of Appeals affirmed the order of the trial court because the malpractice claims sounded in tort not contract, and were beyond the statute of limitations.
